As a proud annual sponsor for the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP), Virtual Corporation will be attending the ACP-Ohio chapter Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. This community of professionals focuses on business continuity and disaster recovery in cyber security.

Join us as we discuss the basic components of a cybersecurity program, how cybersecurity has moved out of the shadow of IT to become a strategic partner in business continuity discussions, and finally, ways the two can partner to benefit any organization.

Within organizations, cybersecurity and business continuity often operate as isolated silos.  Efficiencies and opportunities are frequently lost when these two functional units remain independent of each other.

In the constantly changing threatscape businesses operate in today, whether it’s in the cloud or on-premise, cybersecurity prepares and protects the business while business continuity is ready to recover and/or restore the business back to normal, or as close to normal as possible.  Think of each as a guard rail as your business travels the road to success.

The ACP Board of Directors consists of officers who direct the business of the Association while Chapters are directed by officers who tailor activities to the needs of their membership.
